Anahita is a painter born and raised in Tehran who has been living in Toronto for the past few years. From the moment she was able to hold a pencil, she showed a deep interest in art and painting a passion that later continued through her academic studies in Photography and Industrial Design, where she earned her Master’s degree.

Since childhood, her perception of the world has gone beyond the physical appearance of objects. Even the simplest everyday elements felt alive to her, carrying their own identity and presence. What many today might describe as “overthinking” has always been, for her, a source of inspiration and a powerful tool for creation.

Color, form, and unusual subjects are central elements of her work. Her paintings exist close to the realm of Pop Surrealism, while intentionally resisting strict categorization. Breaking structures and building a personal visual world are essential parts of Anahita’s artistic identity.

Despite the variety of subjects in her work, there is a clear continuity throughout her visual language one that has gradually evolved into a distinctive personal signature.
